Have you try to disable the caching of the module?
Here the way : Go to Extensions > Module Manager in the Administrator panel for Joomla, we can override the cache settings for this module. Under Parameters in the properties of the module, select "Advanced Parameters" > Caching = No Caching
Enter code here

Thank you for that information. It seems plausible, however I am unable to locate the settings that you are speeking of. I checked the module itself and it doesn't have an advanced feature. I am also having the same problem with another module not related to yours. So I am thinking that it might be the template. Any suggestions?
