Regarding Kwick Vertical Sliding Menu J!1.5 1 Month, 2 Weeks ago
Hi,

I am using Joomla 1.5 for my website and for menu's I have tried you extension, Kwick Vertical Sliding Menu J!1.5

I must say it is a wonderful module and does what I want. But, I am facing one problem and wanted to know if that could be solved.

When I enable this module for all pages, images show properly on default joomla home page "frontpage", but on all other pages, it shows white instead of image(no image).

I also tried installing horizontal version Of Kwickstart and that works fine on everypage, I am facing problem only with vertical menus.

I will appreciate if I can get answer for this and is there any way I can fix it?

I am testing this Joomla site on WAMP server. Apart from this module I also have modules as: SWMENUfREE. I tried disabling "swmenufree" just to check if that is interfering with .css settings.

Hello Leena,
I'm tried the module in my localhost and I also enable this module for all pages there is no problem i found. I also try install swMenuFree component and there is no problem too.
Have you check the image configuration at administration page?
or maybe the images at folder \modules\mod_kwickverti_slidingmenu\kwickverti_slidingmenu\images\ have been deleted so the image cannot be shown?
If still can't be shown, try to download our latest Kwick vertical sliding menu at download area and then uninstall the old module and then install with the new one. I hope it will work properly because I have tried it in my localhost and no problem found.

The problem is the reference to image in mod_kwik_verti_slidingmenu.php
the lines where references to url of image must have a "/" in the begin.
Example:

Original code:
Code:

#menu .opt1 { background: url(modules/mod_kwickverti_slidingmenu/kwickverti_slidingmenu/images/<?php echo $camp26image1?>) ; }
Modified code:
Code:

#menu .opt1 { background: url(/modules/mod_kwickverti_slidingmenu/kwickverti_slidingmenu/images/<?php echo $camp26image1?>) ; }
Repeat it for all menu items. The line modified in the example is the 79 of the file. Grate module. Sorry my English, is not my native language.

Hi there,

Thanks, I tried this solution but didn't work.

Problem was because I had SEF (Search ENGINE Froendly) urls 'on', interestingly when I turned it off images did show on all pages.

But i also wanted SEF unred 'ton' for my site. Thanks to your suggestion as it made me think in that direction. Images path should have been relative.
So, I tried putting "../" infront of module on line 79 like:
url(../modules/mod_kwickverti_slidingmenu/kwickverti_slidingmenu/images/<?php echo $camp26image1?> ;
and that worked!!!
thanks for your time and inputs.
and yes your english is not bad at all. You did convey your point well which, helped me solve this issue.
